How a price is built
Proposed price = purchased transport services + applicable ancillary costs + commercial remuneration + chosen insurance + taxes applicable to the service.
- Pickup
- Main carriage
- Fuel and security surcharges
- Handling, stuffing, lashing
- Documentation
- Port charges and customs clearance
- Final delivery
- Cargo insurance
Customs duties and import taxes are separate from transport. Storage, demurrage, detention, inspection or re-delivery costs are contingent and cannot be quantified in advance: they are explained when they apply.
